The line
Squared Away is the AI brain for your tools and gear.
Talking about compliance
Squared Away tracks when a Compliance check or service falls due and warns before it does. It does not decide what the law requires of a business, and it does not make anyone compliant. Say the first thing, never the second.
What you may not claim
- That Squared Away makes a business compliant, keeps it compliant, or helps it "stay compliant".
- That it meets anyone's legal obligations, or that compliance is guaranteed.
- That it decides what the law, a standard such as AS/NZS 3760, or an insurer requires of a business.
- That it satisfies electrical testing and tagging, health and safety, or insurance requirements.
- That it stops anyone using a tool that has failed a check or is overdue. It warns, and records who went ahead.
This is section 5.1 of the affiliate terms. Breaching it is grounds for immediate termination for cause, because the claim lands with our name on it.

Headline
You set how often each check falls due. Squared Away keeps the dates and the evidence, and warns you before anything lapses.
Test dates, who carried out the check, and the certificate — kept against the tool, not in a folder on someone's desktop.
When a tool fails a check or goes past its due date, Squared Away marks it out of service and warns whoever picks it up. If they take it anyway, the record says who and when.
Copy you can use
Built for a crew, not a warehouse
Most inventory software was written for warehouses. Squared Away was written for a crew, a truck and a job that finishes somewhere other than where it started.
Photograph it and it is catalogued
Point a phone at the gang box, the racking or the store room. Everything in the shot is catalogued and put in its place.
Know who had it last
Every tool has a holder and a history. When something walks off site, the record says who had it last and when.
Stay ahead of servicing
Set a service interval against a machine and get told before it falls due — not after somebody has already used it.
Logos
Use them as supplied — no recolouring, stretching or added effects.
